For some of us, there are such dire times in our lives that we come to a crossroads where we must decide to move through those dire times and move forward to a better place. As I like to think, come to pass, and when I say come to pass, I mean just that, the very meaning of "come to pass"...to happen, to occur, to complete a movement, to arrive.
Often when bad things happen to good people we get stuck or we retreat into our body, our shells. This is what I did for quite some time. But there comes a point and time where you must come out of that shell and fight for your life, move forward, to work towards the life you deserve, to come to pass. We all have different ways at arriving at this point.

I am here simply to tell you, that you can move forward, you can do it because I did. And not once, but twice. And I was a total mess, my life was in shambles, so if I can do it, you can too. I am going tell you the steps I took towards getting a life back and if you follow them, they can work for you too. I still may not be where I want to be, but I am far from where I once was.
- Get over your pride. Whether it be friends, family or community, ask for help.
- Use all available resources, that's what they're there for.
- Get creative. Write an online diary/journal, create a blog or website, draw, read. What ever interests you, do it.
- Surround your self with great, positive friends, family and even aquaintences. Mentors even.
- Get social. Get social support online as well as in person. Socialize or join Twitter, Facebook or Myspace. Join online forums or support groups.
- Take it one day at a time, one small step at a time at regaining your life. Don't try to regain everything back in a single day or a month even, it takes time, be patient, it will come to pass.
- Lastly, and most important. Put your faith in God, stay in faith, study God's word, get a daily dose of the word. Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen are two great ministries to help you do just that. I would also suggest going to chuch, conferences or even participate in local study groups.
