- Exercise - Exercise releases endorphins in the brain and makes us feel better about ourselves.
- Count Your Blessings - Count your blessings for the wonderful things you have in your life that you could be without. Think of how much better off you are than some other people.
- Take time for yourself -Think about nothing, do nothing that requires you to other than exercise, just relax. Read, watch tv, knit, paint, do puzzles, just relax.
- Assess your problem(s)- Think of them as challenges instead of problems, work towards finding solutions one step at a time. Just try to look at things from a different perspective.
- Remember that problems are temporary.- Nothing in life is permanent, so where you are today, may not be where you are tomorrow, next month or next year.
