Winterization Time

Fall weather, you know what that means.  Next comes winter, so it's time to prepare and weatherize your home.  Here are ten ideas to get you going.

1. Seal up all drafts with weather stripping...doors, windows, etc.
2. Change your furnace filters.
3. Turn down your water heater.
4. Run fans in reverse.
5. Turn down the thermostat.
6. Cover window with plastic.
7. Wear sweaters and sweatshirts.
8. Insulate your pipes.
9. Seal ducts.
10. Use or update to an energy efficient furnace.
